OUR PEOPLE

Working at TDG

Who we are

At TDG, our purpose is to sustain waterways and underground assets, enhancing our communities while protecting the natural environment.

Our vision is to provide sustainable services that are chosen by our customers and delivered for the communities we serve.

Our service delivery is built on core values: respect for the people, continuous improvement, and manage by fact. These core values are strengthened by our focuses: safety by choice, community, sustainability, reliable delivery, and customer satisfaction.

This approach empowers us to support communities across New Zealand with innovative and sustainable infrastructure solutions.

Our growth is powered by our people. We invest in their safety, wellbeing, and development at every stage, and we’re committed to building a more inclusive workplace, learning and evolving as we go.

Working Together For Community Impact

At TDG, we’re proud to support the communities where we live and work, through local partnerships, sponsorships, and initiatives that promote sustainability, inclusion, education, and emergency services. Whether it’s backing a grassroots program or contributing to a regional event, we’re committed to making a meaningful difference.

Respect our People. Support our Minds.

Respect our People. Support our Minds.

Since 10 September, our TDG calendar has been filled with small yet meaningful moments of connection. Across Australia and New Zealand, our teams showed up with openness and a genuine willingness to make a difference. From toolbox talks and team lunches to group walks and trivia, each depot and office found its own way to acknowledge World Suicide Prevention Day, R U OK? Day, World Mental Health Day– and beyond. We also officially launched TELUS Health during the month, providing employees and their immediate family members with 24/7 access to confidential mental health support, professional counselling, and a range of wellbeing tools and resources. As we wrap up Mental Wellness Month, let’s carry this momentum forward and continue making mental wellbeing part of our everyday practice. At TDG, we respect our people and support our minds.

Respect our People. Support our Minds.

Respect our People. Support our Minds.

Respect our People. Support our Minds. From 10 September to 10 October 2025, we’ll be recognising Mental Wellness Month- a time to raise awareness, reflect, and support one another. This month highlights important days including: World Suicide Prevention Day – 10 September, R U OK? Day – 11 September, World Mental Health Day – 10 October Each reminds us that simple acts- checking in, listening, and showing respect- can make a real difference. Mental Wellness Month is an opportunity for all of us to keep these conversations going, to look out for each other, and to help create communities where everyone feels valued and supported. #WorldSuicidePreventionDay #RUOKDay #WorldMentalHealthDay
