Our leadership team brings together decades of experience in environmental services, infrastructure, and sustainable waste management. They drive our strategic vision while ensuring we deliver safe, high-quality, and environmentally responsible outcomes for every project.Β 

Jochen Behr

Chief Executive Officer

Jochen is an experienced executive with a strong record of leading global blue‑chip organisations as a Divisional Head and CEO. He specialises in developing and executing strategies that enhance operational efficiency and support sustainable business growth.

Β 

He has successfully increased revenue and profitability across European and Australian operations, revitalised underperforming business units, and led market entries into new regions, including Russia. Jochen is known for building high‑performing teams and enabling long‑term organisational success.

Before joining TDG, he held senior roles as a Commercial Director and Strategic Consultant and is a certified Six Sigma Master Black Belt, bringing a diverse and results‑driven leadership background to the organisation.

Adam Zines

Chief Financial Officer

Appointed in 2024, Adam leads TDG’s Finance, IT, and Fleet Management functions.Β AdamΒ is an accomplished finance executive with extensive experience across ASX‑listed, private, and private equity‑owned organisations. Known for his hands‑on operational approach, Adam brings strong commercial insight and a proven ability to drive effectiveΒ financial management.Β

AdamΒ holds a Bachelor of Business (Finance/Accounting) from the University of Technology Sydney, is a Fellow of CPA Australia, and has completed a Graduate Diploma in Applied Finance and Investment through FINSIA.Β 

Russell Graham

Executive General Manager, Productivity and Strategy

Russell is a senior executive with more than 25 years’ experience improving productivity and delivering strategic change across utilities, manufacturing and technology sectors in Australia, Europe and North America. He has led post-merger integrations, performance improvement programs and business turnarounds in complex, regulated environments.

Russell leads the TDG Environmental group strategy function, working with the team and ownership to develop team capability and strengthen profitability.

With a background in mechanical engineering and an MBA from HEC Paris, Russell has held senior leadership and consulting roles within Orora, Opal (Nippon Paper Group), SAP and Boxwood KMPG.

Damian Lindenberg

Executive General Manager, New Zealand and Queensland

Damian brings over 14 years of industry experience to his role as Executive General Manager for New Zealand and Queensland. He has a strong track record of business growth driven by his commitment to safety, operational excellence, and a high‑performance culture.

He is a firm advocate for TDG’s core valuesβ€”Respect for People, Managing by Fact, and Continuous Improvementβ€”and demonstrates these principles in his leadership approach. Damian promotes open, honest communication across all levels of the organisation, ensuring teams actively embed these values in their daily work and decision‑making.

Rob Skerten

General Manager, NZ

With 20 years of experience in the civil construction industry, Rob serves as General Manager for NZ, overseeing operations across our branches and projects nationwide. He is dedicated to ensuring that all operations align seamlessly with TDG’s strategic objectives, budgets, key performance indicators (KPIs), and client expectations.

Rob’s dynamic career spans a diverse portfolio of civil construction projects acrossΒ New Zealand and Australia. His expertise spans Project Management, Contract Management, Business Development, and General Management, making him a versatile leader in the field.

Rob holds a Master of Business Administration (MBA), a Postgraduate Diploma in Business (PGDipBus), a Bachelor of Engineering Technology (BEngTech) in Civil Engineering, and a New Zealand Diploma in Engineering (NZDE). This combination reflects a strong foundation across both business leadership and engineering disciplines. His passion for the industry drives a focus on delivering exceptional outcomes while building trusted, long-term relationships with clients and key stakeholders.

Kane Hodgson

Renewals Manager

Kane brings over a decade of leadership and technical expertise in water and wastewater infrastructure. His career spans operations, asset renewals, and maintenance management, giving him a strong foundation in both strategic planning and hands-on delivery.

Kane has successfully led national operations and renewal programs, introducing process improvements that reduced lead times and enhanced service delivery outcomes. He holds a New Zealand Diploma in Wastewater Treatment and a New Zealand Diploma in Mechanical Engineering, underpinning his strong technical capability.

Kane is passionate about driving safe, efficient, and compliant results while fostering a proactive safety culture and continuous improvement across all programs. Known for his collaborative approach, he builds strong relationships with clients, councils, and contractors to ensure transparency and trust. By balancing commercial discipline with people-first leadership, Kane helps TDG deliver reliable, value-driven solutions that support communities and strengthen long-term partnerships.

Anthony Fehring

Head of HSEQ

Anthony is the Head of HSEQ at TDG, bringing over 12 years of experience across industrial and utility services, waste, and recycling. He applies a practical and adaptable approach to HSEQ, with a strong focus on supporting field teams to deliver safe, high‑quality outcomes for customers.

His expertise spans risk management, workers’ compensation, training, and regulatory compliance. Anthony and his team provide coaching, guidance, and technical support across the organisation to ensure the safe, sustainable, and consistent delivery of services.

Chris Feil

Head of Legal, Culture & Sustainability

Chris Feil is the Executive General Manager of Legal, Culture and Sustainability at TDG Environmental. He brings over 20 years of legal and governance experience gained across senior roles in the Utilities and Waste Management sectors in Australia and New Zealand.

Chris provides strong leadership in corporate governance, culture, and sustainability, with a particular focus on environmental, social and governance (ESG) priorities and reporting. His balanced strategic perspective supports sound decision‑making and reinforces TDG’s commitment to responsible, values‑driven operations.

He holds both an Economics degree and a Bachelor of Laws (Hons) from the University of Sydney.

Gavin Amopiu

Group Development Manager

Gavin Amopiu is the Group Development Manager, responsible for driving sustainable growth across the TDG group while meeting customer expectations.

With over 20 years of experience in infrastructure delivery across Australia and New Zealand, he has led complex projects and programs primarily within the water and wastewater sectors.

Β 

Gavin is a strong advocate for communication, cohesion, and complementary skill sets as the foundations of high‑performing teams and exceptional customer outcomes. He holds a Bachelor of Engineering from Auckland and a Master of Laws from Melbourne.
